WINTER DEAFLYMPICS 2027

Die Deaflympics sind das größte Sportevent für Menschen mit Hörbeeinträchtigung. Die Winter Deaflympics 2027 werden in Tirol stattfinden, mit Wettkampfstätten in Innsbruck und Seefeld. Damit ist dieses Sportevent erstmals seit 1949 (erste Austragung überhaupt) wieder in Österreich zu Gast. Sei dabei!

Ausgetragen werden folgende Sportarten: 

• Curling
• Eishockey
• Langlaufen
• Schach
• Ski Alpin
• Snowboard 

Einsatzzeitraum für Volunteers (je nach Bereich):

02. bis 15.01.: Nur Aufbauhelfer:innen
15. bis 24.01.: Alle Eventpositionen
25. bis 27.01.: Nur Abbauhelfer:innen

• Logistik & Management der Sportstätten (inkl. Auf- und Abbau)
• Kundenservice

Timeline bis zur Veranstaltung: 

• Start Anmeldung: 01. Oktober 2025
• Evaluierung, Interviews & Jobzuteilung: Ab Anfang Februar 2026
• Einschulung: Stufenweise je nach Aufgabenbereich im 2. Halbjahr 2026
• Festlegung genauer Schichtplan: 4. Quartal 2026
• 15.01.2027: Eröffnungsfeier
• 24.01.2027: Schlussfeier

Bitte beachtet, dass Volunteers, die einen längeren bzw. den gesamten Eventzeitraum abdecken können, bevorzugt werden.

WINTER DEAFLYMPICS 2027

Die Deaflympics are the largest sport event for people with hearing impairments. The Winter Deaflympics 2027 will be held in Tirol, with venues in Innsbruck and Seefeld. The event returns to Austria after a break of 76 years, when Seefeld held the first ever Winter Deaflympics. Be part of it!

The following Sports will be played: 

• Curling
• Ice hockey
• Cross country skiing
• Chess
• Alpine Skiing
• Snowboard 

Work opportunties for volunteers (depending on area):

January 2nd-15th 2027: Setup only
January 15th-24th 2027: All positions 
January 25th-27th 2027: Dismantling only

Timeline until the event: 

• Start Registration: October 1st, 2025
• Evaluation,interviews and job assignment: Starting February 2026
• Job training: Starting July 2026
• Detailed shift planning: 4th quarter 2026
• January 15th, 2027: Opening ceremony
• January 24th, 2027: Closing ceremony
