When events are being held
In order to make it as easy as possible for you to get to various Olympiaworld events, the IVB and Olympiaworld Innsbruck have introduced the combined ticket as part of close cooperation. Your admission ticket to the event in the Olympiaworld Innsbruck is also an Innsbruck ticket, which allows you a free return journey on all IVB lines in the Innsbruck core zone to the Olympiaworld 1.5 hours before and after the event. In addition to the combination ticket, free shuttle buses run from Innsbruck main station 1.5 hours before and after the event every 15 minutes for all football, ice hockey and football games.
Information on timetables can be found at www.ivb.at
Arriving by train (recommended!)
From Innsbruck Railway Station use the bus route as detailed above.
Arriving by bike (recommended!)
There is an IVB city bike station directly in front of the main entrance to the Olympic Hall. The Olympiaworld is one of 49 locations throughout Innsbruck and thus enables another climate-friendly journey to the event location. Further general information about the city bike, rental fees and subscriptions can be found HERE.
NEW: At selected events, guests can rent an IVB city bike on the day of the event, free of charge for the first 30 minutes. All information can be found on the event page of the respective event.
In addition, there are sufficient, partly covered, bicycle parking spaces available on the Olympiaworld site (see map).
Arriving by plane
The taxi ride from Innsbruck Airport to the Olympiaworld takes around 20 minutes. Alternatively ‘F’ buses travel regularly between the arrivals hall and the city centre. The ‘F’ bus takes you in around 20 minutes to the railway station from where you can use the bus routes as detailed above.
